2009 Summer Friendly League Week 2
Central won both their matches at the One Tun to put them top of the table, while hosts North got beaten twice. West managed a win, a defeat, and a narrow defeat bonus (to Central) with Ian Bayley getting within one two-pointer of an individual full house in match one.
East London managed their first win of the season against Outer London. As a result, every side now has a victory on the scoreboard. At the Royal Oak, every team came away with a win and a defeat. A bonus point was gained by Outer for coming within three points of East in match two.
There was a three-way tie for top score of the week, with Kevin Ashman, Ian Bayley and Barry Simmons all recording 23. Kevin ultimately wins if second best scores are used to break the tie with a 21 in match two.
A correction to the week one table was necessary due to an undeclared bonus point for a full house for North London.
Thanks to Fred Filby and Peter Ediss for their quizzes for week two.
